Re-opening our Visitor Centres

Protecting our people and visitors continues to be our top priority.

After taking the precautionary measure to close our global Visitor Centres at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, we are pleased to share the following update:

  1. In Scotland, our Glenfiddich Visitor Centre and tours re-opened on Wednesday, 15 July 2020. We are currently operating on reduced hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 0930 to 1600. You can find out more details on our Glenfiddich website
  2. We will confirm the re-opening date for The Balvenie Distillery tours in due course.
  3. Our Tuthilltown Visitor Centre in New York offers visitors an outdoor experience on weekends from 12pm-6pm including bar service, self-guided tasting kits and retail. The visitor centre is also open Monday-Friday from 12-6pm for phone orders and curbside pickup only. Tours are currently suspended and will likely resume in late autumn. You can find more details on our Hudson Whiskey website
  4. From Summer 2021, the Tullamore Distillery in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland, is planned to become the new home of our Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Experience and will host all future brand and whiskey tours. This means that we intend to close the current visitor centre from October 2020 - Summer 2021 as we plan the upgrades to the visitor experience at our distillery. Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates and we look forward to welcoming you to our new immersive visitor experience at our distillery in Summer 2021. If you have any questions or concerns about existing bookings, please get in touch info@tullamoredew.com

Safety and hygiene measures at our Visitor Centres

Protecting our people and visitors continues to be our top priority and we have implemented a number of robust safety and hygiene measures to ensure everyone's safety at our Visitor Centres. These precautions include:

  • a temperature check on arrival
  • a one-way system for all visitors
  • clear signage to guide visitors throughout, and
  • limited capacity to ensure effective social distancing.

We continue to emphasise the importance of hand and respiratory hygiene and have installed necessary protection equipment for our employees and visitors. This includes glass protection at till points and hand washing stations.

We will regularly review these measures to ensure they continue to follow the latest government guidance.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
